The Art Institute of California — Inland Empire joins The Art Institutes system of schools across the nation in celebrating the talents of local high school arts and media educators with an April gallery show, “What Those Who Teach Can Do.”

“We’re honoring what educators in our community do by hosting their work in our gallery” said Emam El-Hout, president of The Art Institute of California — Inland Empire. “Teachers work tirelessly to cultivate the skills of our area’s high school students. The show is our way to shine a light on the talents they use every day to inspire.”

Select teachers from the following schools will have their work on display: Chaffey High School (Ontario); Colton High School (Colton); Richardson Prep High School (San Bernardino); and Rim of the World High School (Lake Arrowhead).

The month-long exhibition marks the first nationwide effort by The Art Institutes to highlight the artistic works of local teachers. More than 45 locations of The Art Institutes in the United States will host “What Those Who Teach Can Do.”

The Art Institute of California — Inland Empire invites the public and family, friends and students of the artists to attend the reception at 674 East Brier Drive, San Bernardino, CA 92408 on Thursday, April 19 from 6 to 8pm at no charge. For more information, call the school at 909.915.2100.
