ABOUT THE ART INSTITUTE OF LAS VEGAS
- The Art Institute of Las Vegas is one of The Art Institutes, a system of more than 40 educational institutions located across North America.
- The Art Institutes provide programs in design, media arts, culinary and fashion.
- The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Las Vegas (formerly the Culinary Institute of Las Vegas) is a division of The Art Institute of Las Vegas.
- The Art Institute of Las Vegas was founded in 1983, and was known as the Interior Design Institute and later the Design Institute. The school became part of The Art Institutes system in April 2001. In 2006, The Art Institute of Las Vegas opened a branch campus, The Art Institute of Indianapolis.
- The school comprises approximately 45,000 square feet of classroom, computer lab, library, professional skills kitchens, a dining lab and office space.
- The Art Institute of Las Vegas has more than 76 faculty, many of whom are working professionals in their respective fields. By tapping industry professionals, The Art Institute is able to bring a real-world perspective into the classroom, preparing students for entry-level positions upon graduation.
PROGRAM OFFERINGS
Each program offered on a year-round basis, allowing students to continue to work uninterrupted towards their degrees. Academic programs are carefully defined with the support and contributions of members of the professional community through program advisory committees. Curricula are further reviewed periodically to ensure they meet the needs of a changing marketplace to prepare graduates for entry-level positions in their chosen fields.
