The Art Institute prepares the graduate for the demands of the workplace. Although there are no guarantees of employment, considerable effort is put forth to bring potential employers together with graduates.
If you have taken advantage of industry speakers and events sponsored by Career Services, joined your trade industry student groups, and attended professional/student organizations, you have already started the networking process. You may have completed an internship that has added value to your résumé. Armed with a body of work required by your major in a portfolio format (AutoCad Blueprints, Color Boards, CD ROM, demo reel, or Web site URL), you will be working closely with Career Services to match your skills to hundreds of companies.

Portfolio Review
For the graduating class, we hold a portfolio review that will allow you the opportunity to show your work to the potential employers who attend the show. This is a “show-and-tell” showcase of the graduate’s best work, displayed with pride and presented to prospective employers, the community, family, and friends.
