Disabilities Services
The Art Institute of Las Vegas provides accommodations to qualified students
with disabilities. The Disability Services office assists qualified students
with disabilities in acquiring reasonable and appropriate accommodations and
in supporting their success.
The Art Institute of Las Vegas is committed to providing qualified students

STUDENT LIFE
Students at The Art Institute of Las Vegas become members of an exciting
community of creative individuals composed of students, faculty, staff and
alumni and culinary professionals. The Art Institute of Las Vegas encourages
and rewards student participation and leadership in our creative community.
- Student Affairs offers a wide variety of student activities to encourage
social networking and stress management, including social events, and creativity-enhancing
activities and field trips.
- Student Affairs sponsors student chapters of professional associations,
including the American Culinary Federation, American Institute of Graphic
Artists, American Society of Interior Designers, and National Kitchen and
Bath Association.
- Our students have opportunities to participate and earn recognition as
a student leader by participating and eventually providing leadership in
student organizations and activities.
APPEALS COMMITTEE
Student Appeals Committee meets frequently to deliberate academic and non-academic
issues affecting the standing of enrolled students. The Committee is responsible
for reviewing all materials presented by the student and The Art Institute,
and it renders a final decision in each appeal. The Committee seeks fair and
equitable outcomes in the best interests of individual students.
The Appeals Committee is comprised of the Dean of Student Affairs (Conduct
Officer), Academic Directors, Academic Advisors, the Appeals Committee Chair,
and other officials deemed appropriate by the Appeals Committee.
