We are looking for a second Director of Admissions to assist the Senior Director of Admissions in establishing and forecasting student recruitment plans and class outcomes, oversee hiring, training, development and motivation of admissions staff; prepare semi-annual and annual reviews; be responsible for conversion of inquires to applicants, and applicants to new students; be responsible for school's admissions budget and monitor inquiry source results and cost effectiveness; be responsible for local inquiry generation and database marketing; generate marketing plans to support inquiry conversion and applicant lock-in; ensure compliance with all Art Institute standards and compliance with all federal, state and accreditation requirements; and serve as a second in command to the admissions department at large and as an adjunct member of the school's Executive Committee upon request.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience, a minimum seven years of increasingly responsible experience in sales and marketing management (particularly admissions recruitment or intangible products), a proven ability to inspire, motivate and lead a sales team, be computer literate in order to learn and utilize The Art Institute inquiry and applicant system and report features, and have excellent communication skills.
