Counseling Services

The Art Institute of California — Los Angeles is committed to the emotional well being of our students. We offer confidential counseling services for our students at no charge, to assist with challenges such as depression, stress management, anxiety, or the loss of a relationship.

The Counseling Center offers weekly appointments with a counselor to help students work through personal issues which may be affecting their school work, job or personal relationships. Students may meet with a counselor for short term therapy. If a student needs a more ongoing therapeutic relationship, the Counseling Center has a list of low fee referrals to outside counseling agencies that have been approved by The Art Institute of California — Los Angeles Counseling Center.

The Counseling Center appointment hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Students may set appointments with one of our counselors by calling the Counseling Center at 310-314-6149.
