Miami International University of Art & Design is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees. The Commission is to be contacted only if there is evidence that appears to support an institution’s significant non-compliance with a requirement or standard.

This accreditation includes the following branch campuses of the University: The Art Institute of Tampa and The Art Institute of Jacksonville.

Miami International University of Art & Design holds a License by Means of Accreditation from the Florida commission for Independent Education.
