Campus Safety

Students, Parents, Staff & Faculty:

The safety and security of our students, staff, and faculty are of our utmost concern.  Though we live in a close community, it is important to remember that we are in the middle of a city and it is always wise to keep safety at the top of our minds.

Please remember to take the following precautions at all times:

  • Use caution when walking around campus and housing, stay away from dark areas
  • Do not walk alone, especially at night.  Walk in pairs or groups.
  • Pay attention to your surroundings as you walk.
  • Avoid dark areas and stay on well-lit and well-traveled streets.
  • If something or someone makes you feel uneasy, come to the school as quickly as possible and alert security.
  • If you park on campus and are uneasy about returning to your car in the dark, ask the security guard to accompany you.
  • Report any suspicious or unusual activity immediately to the security desks in the Main Building, first and second floor, or at the Venetia building, first floor.
