Housing

[Spanish Version]

The Office of Student Housing at Miami International University of Art & Design is dedicated to helping students meet housing needs throughout their stay at Miami International University of Art & Design. The living arrangements chosen are important to students’ well-being and success.

Miami International University of Art & Design is a member of the International Association of College and University Housing Offices.

The Housing Office offers two services to help meet our students' needs:

Supervised — Miami International University of Art & Design school-sponsored housing, Edgewater Hall and Vista Hall, is comprised of supervised facilities in close proximity to the University and available to those who prefer a more traditional residential life environment. These facilities allow for easy access to the beaches, boating, parks, shopping, and part-time employment. Each facility provides a community of students with similar goals sharing a variety of cultural and educational interests. These facilities are supervised 24 hours a day. [Please note that all students must vacate the premises during the winter and summer breaks to allow for maintenance and repairs.]

Unsupervised — Independent-housing information and roommate referrals are available to those students who choose to live independent of supervised housing. Apartment listing and roommate referrals are available to those students who choose to live off campus.
