International Admissions Policy All international applicants to The Art Institutes International Minnesota must meet the same admissions standards as all other students (see section under Admissions Requirements). Additionally, international students must demonstrate competence in the English language by one of the following standards: graduation from a secondary or post-secondary institution whose primary language of instruction was English, a minimum score of 480 on the written TOEFL or an equivalent level of English proficiency from an approval English as a Second Language (ESL) program, or proof of successful completion of a minimum of two-quarters of post-secondary coursework at an accredited institution in which English was the language of instruction.Advice for International Students Students come from all over the world to attend The Art Institutes International at Minnesota. The International Student Advisor is the key contact for all international students holding nonimmigrant visas. The advisor provides assistance and guidance regarding immigration procedures and policies and serves as the designated school official to issue and sign I-20 forms.
