DIRECTOR OF ‘24’ TALKS WITH MINNEAPOLIS COLLEGE STUDENTS
Minneapolis, MN – The Art Institutes International Minnesota is hosting a videoconference with Emmy Award winning director Jon Cassar on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at noon. This videoconference is open to students attending The Art Institutes International Minnesota, a commercial arts college located in downtown Minneapolis. Jon Cassar will be discussing his work in film, directing the hit show, “24,” and advice on how to seek careers in Hollywood.
Jon Cassar is a Canadian director and producer of the television series 24, as well as a number of other film-related works. In 2006, he won an Emmy Award for his directing work on 24. He is a graduate of Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada. He is the co-founder of the Motion Picture Industry Charitable Alliance, which hosts an annual charity auction, "Lights, Camera, Auction.”
