Student Clubs and Organizations

Ad Link has been established by the Advertising students to converse with advertising professionals and to have the opportunity to promote and acknowledge Ai Minnesota advertisers as successful notable members of the advertising community.   The members of this group will receive discounts on Ad-Fed memberships and conference costs.

American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA)

It is the mission of the AIGA student group to enhance our graphic design education by fostering professionalism inspiring creativity and passion, providing knowledge resources, engaging in dialogue to improve curriculum and policies, building a sense of community among students and faculty, and interacting with established design professionals.

American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)

ASID promotes design excellence through professional education, market expansion, information sharing, and the creation of a favorable environment for the practice of interior design. ASID strives for excellence by providing educational opportunities and comprehensive membership benefits.

Animation Club
The Animation Club has been established to develop the animation skills of the students in the Animation program, establish connections in the industry, and create a network of motivated and talented students.

Anime Club

The purpose of the Anime Club is to provide a group where anime lovers can come together and share their favorite anime/manga, share their own ideas, make friends, and put together anime shorts.  We hope to make visits to Anime Detour Convention.

CADsquared

The purpose of CADsquared is to promote, enhance, and encourage students to venture beyond their every day AutoCAD skills.  The CADsquared club prides itself on bringing to the table information that is valid to the CAD user such as: short cuts, Autodesk news, trouble shooting, common CAD knowledge, and much more.

Cameraworks Photographic Society
This organization is a great place for students to learn about photography and network for connections to future career objectives and photographic opportunities.  This organization also offers all students the opportunity to co-sponsor, participate in, and benefit from the Cameraworks Photographic Society.

Campus Crusade for Christ

Campus Crusade for Christ was started in 1951 with a vision to help college students become life-long followers of Jesus Christ.  We want to help you learn your faith, live your faith, and communicate your faith while here in college so you can walk with God for a lifetime.

Delta Epsilon Chi (DEX)
The mission of this Honor Society is to serve honor students as a professional organization, providing leadership and career-oriented opportunities to develop and enhance their potential.  Minnesota Delta Epsilon Chi nurtures competent, entrepreneurial, self reliant, cooperative leadership in a variety of professional areas including: Advertising, Business, all areas of Design, E-Commerce, Hospitality, International Marketing, Restaurant & Food Service, and Web development.

Game Design Club
The primary goal of the Game Design Club is to create a network for students so they can learn what it takes to be a video game designer.  The activities of this organization will benefit the students by providing them with hands on experience with game engines

Global Perspectives
 
The Global Perspectives club seeks to empower students by providing a comfortable entry point into our community.  The club will provide a forum for students to share their experiences, identify common issues, and define resources available to help overcome obstacles related to the unique challenges living abroad.  The group will also provide an opportunity to learn about diverse cultures and foster greater understanding amongst all participating students and faculty.

National Technical Honor Society (NTHS)
This Honor Society recognizes outstanding student achievement in career and technical education.  Membership to The Art Institutes International Minnesota NTHS chapter encourages higher scholastic achievement, cultivates a desire for personal excellence, and helps students find success in today’s highly competitive workplace.

Newspaper: Main Frame

Main Frame is a student driven publication that is produced twice a quarter.  The newspaper is a great way for students to learn about the school.  Many people are needed to make this publication possible so sign up today!

Playmation
Playmation offers its members a chance to get hands-on experience with constructive brainstorming ideas for conceptual art, pre-visualization, the fabrication miniatures amateurs and physical effect devises, storyboarding, timing animation sequences, experimenting with motion and motion blur techniques and much more.

Campus Activities Board (CAB)
Ai Minnesota provides an opportunity for students to get involved in a leadership role within the school through the Campus Activities Board. CAB helps plan and carry out student activities for our campus community.

Student Advisory Council
Student Advisory Council provides a student voice, representing the student body to administration while advocating for student issues.
