Ai New York City Instructor To Show At Opening

(New York City, NY- January 2012)- The Art Institute of New York City Graphic Design faculty member Pierre Obando will be showing his recent work as part of a group show at Yace Gallery in Long Island City starting on Thursday, January 19. The show is entitled "Reenacting Sense" and features the work of several artists, each re-enacting stories and senses by recalling memory, theory and history to bring resonating results. Pierre Obando's work plays with visuals we encounter in daily life and uses dot matrix language abstractly to accomplish this.
