Welcome to The Art Institute of New York City, also known as AiNYC. I am delighted that you are here! You are now a part of an educational system nationally known for excellence in creative education. We are part of The Art Institutes, a system of more than 40 education institutions located throughout North America. We have a rich tradition and history, with thousands of outstanding alumni in the professional, creative, and culinary fields. Art Institute students are the beneficiaries of this strong legacy. AiNYC is located in downtown Manhattan – in the SoHo/Tribeca area of New York City - the epicenter of culture, offering unsurpassed opportunities for the further enrichment of your classes and college experience. We encourage you to take advantage of these resources during your college career.

An Art Institute education is not something we do to our students; it is something we do with them. Learning works best when you are an active participant. That means attending all of your classes, meeting deadlines, arriving to class on time, utilizing faculty, and asking questions. If you study, and give your best effort, you will receive all you hoped for from your education. Be involved, actively participate, get to know your instructors, the staff, and your fellow students.
