Career Services

The Art Institute of New York City is dedicated to its students' success, not only while they are in school, but at graduation and beyond. We provide assistance in career planning, job-search skills, interview techniques, and resume development. The school provides individualized job search assistance at three points in the student's career.

Our externship program gives students valuable real-world experience while still in school, working at some of New York's most prestigious establishments.

Our Career Services Department maintains active relationships with top employers in the New York metropolitan area and across the country to insure that our students have every opportunity to find the job they seek.

Even after graduation, our Career Services staff assists alumni of The Art Institute. Alumni are assisted with resume updates and registration to the national Art Institute online community job board.
