Instructor Lighting Expert
Interior Design instructor Randy Sabedra was the subject of a 3 minute 15 second video interview on the website of The New York Times. The subject was a greener, dimmer skyline for energy conservation. In a dusk to dark tour of the city, he discussed how green building technologies are changing the city’s nightscape, including the use of such devices as dimmers and motion sensors.
Randy teaches Architectural Lighting Design at The Art Institute of New York City. He is recognized for his award-winning projects, and is well known in the design community as an “educator of light.” He is currently president of the New York section of the Illuminating Engineering Society.
