Interior Design Field Trip

On Friday, May 29, fifteen students from Interior Design instructor Aileen Iverson’s Interior Urban Design class visited the Secretariat of the United Nations building on the Eastside of Manhattan.

The class studies the utilization of urban space. The UN’s architect agreed to take the class on a specialized tour of the Secretariat building. He discussed the planning, detailing, historic significance and the future of the building.

This trip exemplifies the benefits of attending an Art and Design program in the heart of New York City.
