Career Services

Your career goals come into focus with the first job you land in your field. Our Career Services Department works with you to make that happen.

The staff help lay the foundation for your career search. They are made up of dedicated advisors who work with students throughout their educational programs. Staff work with employers to market graduates and students and their capabilities. They generate job leads, match graduate and student skills with employer needs, and help graduates learn the lifelong skill of conducting a successful job search.

What we offer:

Experienced advisors to provide instruction on key job search skills; résumé writing, interviewing, portfolio presentation, and networking.
One-on-one job search assistance for full-time, part-time, freelance, and internship employment in each student's field of study.
Individual job search assistance for students seeking part-time employment while completing his or her program of study.
Quarterly Portfolio Reviews where employers meet new graduates and view their work (final projects).
Employer presentations that bring up-to-date information on technology and design trends to The Art Institute of California—Orange County community.
Job fairs and recruitment events at The Art Institute of California—Orange County that provide a forum for students and employers to interact.

Our Career Services team assists artists in making their career dreams come true. We have specialists in each major networking with employers daily to be sure that you have the job leads you need upon graduation. Even before you graduate we want to assist you in internship sourcing, freelance project development and both degree related and non-degree related employment. Your portfolio starts with your first final in your art classes and ends when you finish your last class.
