Academic Director — Web Design & Interactive Media 

Director of Web Design & Interactive Media Amy Norton is an established educator with over a decade of design experience. In addition to her role at The Art Institute of California-Orange County, Amy also teaches at Coleman College in San Diego and is Managing Director for design company, 78 West, LLC.

Prior to coming to The Art Institute, Amy was a founding instructor in the Graphic Design department at Coleman College, where she also served as Associate Dean and Department Chair. While there she was responsible for developing the bachelor's degree program in graphic design.

Amy has worked in a variety of industries on both web development and graphic design projects. She has developed Web sites for Vivendi Universal in Berkeley, California and has created graphic design projects for several national companies, including Wells Fargo, O'Neill, the University of California and SOMA International, among others.

Amy holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a master's degree from Coleman College.
