Academic Director — Media Arts & Animation

Lawrence Richman is Academic Director for the Media Arts & Animation and Game Art & Design programs at The Art Institute of California — Orange County. Lawrence has served as a graphics/marketing director for The SaveMore Group, developing marketing strategies and advertising campaigns as well as conceptualizing, designing and implementing visual media that included corporate logo design, web design and management and the production of an animated national television commercial. He has worked as a freelance graphic/animation artist for clients such as MTV, How2TV.com (Alcatel, Sanyo, Virgin, and Maxtor Products), Vellen Media, Nuper Technology, Targeted Communications, National Benefit Systems, Affordable Health Care, Ground Up Productions and PrimeStar Entertainment. His creative background also includes work with Sony Pictures Imageworks and television shows such as the Keenan Ivory Wayans Show, Crook and Chase, Caryl and Marilyn, Real Friends.

Larry holds a master's degree in education at American Intercontinental University, as well as bachelor's degree in business administration from Rider University. He also received an associate's degree in computer animation from The Art Institute of California — Los Angeles.
