Game Art & Design and Visual & Game Programming Instructors

We seek both part time and full time instructors. Ideal candidates are positive- minded professionals ready to provide career education through learner-centered instruction which enables graduates to meet the evolving needs of the marketplace. Qualified candidates must possess a Master's degree in a related area, (or a Master’s degree plus bachelors in art or related area). Previous teaching experience is preferred. Instructors are expected to have a firm understanding of current professional technologies and programs.

Programs requiring instructors include:

Game Art & Design:
• Professionally capable with most of the major production software packages: Maya / Max / ZBrush / Photoshop
• Superior knowledge of world building, level design, architecture and other environment creation principles.
• Familiarity with high resolution modeling, next generation shading and texturing techniques.
• Knowledge of Unreal Editor 3 is a big plus.
• Game industry experience.

Visual & Game Programming:
• Very strong experience with 3-D content development software (Maya, 3Ds Max, etc.) having used them effectively for modeling, texturing and character rigging
• Experience with scripting languages (MEL, Python etc.).
• Experience in shader development for games.
• Experience with PC game engines, knowledge of Unreal Editor 3 is a big plus.
• Game industry experience.
