Student Development Coordinator
We are seeking a professional with effective leadership skills to develop and implement programs and activities that support student needs and foster their personal growth. The selected candidate will be responsible for student activities and programs, student clubs, new student orientation, independent housing and special events. This is a great opportunity to use your organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate the development and facilitation of activities and programs that promote student success.
A bachelor's degree is required. A master's degree in student personnel, education, counseling or a related field is preferred. Must have a minimum of two years' experience developing and facilitating programs and activities in a post-secondary institution, as well as experience with new student orientation, mentorship programs and advising student clubs and organizations. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication abilities, plus strong computer, analytical and problem resolution skills. Must be able to lead or work as part of a team to meet departmental goals. Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and perform well under deadline pressure is essential.
