The Director of Admissions will assist in marketing, budgeting and support activities essential to admissions team performance. Responsibilities include attaining new student and start rate plans for the team, as well as assisting the Sr. Director of Admissions in establishing and forecasting plans and class outcomes. This position will generate marketing plans to support inquiry conversion and applicant lock-in, while ensuring compliance with all school standards, ethical standards, and federal, state and accreditation requirements. Will also be responsible for local inquiry generation and database marketing in conjunction with the primary Sr. Director of Admissions. Using proven leadership skills, the Admissions Director will oversee hiring, training, development, motivation, and ongoing management of staff. Other duties will include conducting staff reviews and maintaining staffing plans.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (Master’s preferred) and 7 years’ increasingly responsible experience managing a sales effort, particularly admissions recruitment or intangible products. Strong expertise with MS Office and field-related hardware and software packages and systems for reporting features required. Must demonstrate superior organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.
