Fashion Lab
The fashion lab is an integral part of the Fashion Design program. Modeled after a typical design room, this is where designers make their concepts come to life. The lab is a hub of student design activity where core fashion classes such as patternmaking, sewing and design studio classes are held.

The fashion lab offers industrial sewing machines and other industry standard equipment such as large cutting tables for fabric spreading and cutting and patternmaking projects. It also includes specialized equipment such as professional ironing equipment and industrial overlock machines for finishing seam edges. Dress forms are available for student use and give students a 3-D view of their creations.

The lab includes the tools every successful designer needs, and guests can view the student designers at work through large windows.
