Current Student Employment Assistance

Part-Time Employment
Many students find that part-time employment is an excellent way to help meet the financial obligations of a college education, while maintaining a flexible schedule that allows for class and study time. Current students can meet with a Student Employment Advisor to discuss part-time or freelance job opportunities and receive weekly job leads. The Student Employment Advisor will also work with students individually to build a resume and cover letter and prepare for interviews. Appointments are available daily in Career Services.

Internships
Internships give The Art Institute students the opportunity to apply classroom instruction to real-world experience while earning academic credit. Both the Interior Design and Culinary Arts programs require a minimum of 99 hours of internship experience. The Office of Career Services partners with employers in all majors for students who need assistance in locating internship opportunities. Any internship for credit must be approved by your Academic Director in order for class credit to be obtained. Students who locate Internships on their own must inform Career Services and their Academic Director to ensure eligibility.
