Student Counseling

Counseling is provided by trained professionals who are registered and/or certified in the state of California to provide these services. Our counselors each hold a master’s degree in social work, psychology or a related area of study and operate under the state laws of confidentiality. The counselors offer a variety of awareness, intervention and support services that address your emotional well-being. Issues students may wish to consult with a counselor about include, but are not limited to:

  • crisis
  • study difficulties
  • relationships
  • substance use/abuse
  • eating disorders
  • self-esteem
  • depression
  • fear
  • anger
  • stress
  • time management

The counselors also provide information and referrals to community resources for a wide range of concerns. Counseling services are provided in a variety of modes including one-on-one meetings, support groups and workshops.
