Think back to when you were a student at one of The Art Institutes...do you remember having questions about your career or how to get started in your chosen industry? Many new graduates and seasoned alumni alike face these and other professional challenges--but now a new resource can help!
We are now inviting alumni to be mentors and mentees for the new networking program, The Art Institutes' Mentoring Program. The Mentoring Program will help facilitate networking opportunities among alumni to help answer your questions, provide career and personal development, and offer an opportunity to give back to your alumni community by sharing your insight, experience and enthusiasm!
The Art Institutes' Mentoring Program
As a MENTOR you can:
- Provide valuable information on career preparation, job search strategies, company and industry trends, and professional organizations.
- Discuss information on housing, transportation and quality of life to someone who is considering relocating to a new area.
- Share your experiences and insights as an industry professional.
- Network with other alumni and stay connected with your alma mater.
As a MENTEE you can:
- Consult with alumni about career-related issues.
- Discuss what jobs are available for your degree and talk about job search techniques.
- Network with alumni about your professional future and develop key contacts.
- Access a wealth of knowledge from the alumni experiences.
The Art Institutes' Mentoring Program is open to all alumni of The Art Institutes worldwide, and is strictly voluntary--you may choose to keep your information confidential. The Mentor Program does not function as a job placement service, but it may open some doors for you.
