Stacie Hampton
Stacie Hampton

Driven by her passion for art and realizing that you CAN have a successful career at it, Stacie enrolled at The Art Institute of Philadelphia to build a professional portfolio to do so. After graduating in 1992 with a degree in Visual Communications, Stacie hit the ground running and began a healthy freelance career working for several design firms and agencies in Philadelphia and New York.

Now with over 14 years experience, she continues to design and art direct under her company name, LIQUIDNOISE, Inc. Her projects have included: event marketing, logo development, annual reports, corporate brochures, business identity, web and interactive. Clients range from local businesses like the Koresh Dance Company and Epiphany Records to worldwide companies like Intel, Pfizer, QUALCOMM and SBC Communications. Stacie has also won several design awards and has been published both nationally and internationally.

Stacie often uses her own photography in her image manipulations and explores the boundaries of typography and graphics. She remains active in the art community and maintains membership within AIGA. Stacie constantly challenges her own ideas about the role art and creative play in business communications while remaining passionate about her work. Her advice to students, "What ever you do, get involved in an internship. Take full advantage of this incredible opportunity. You'll learn so much more than you can in a classroom and you'll graduate with real-work experience that will put you one step ahead of the rest."
