Wondering how your creative education will transform into the career that you envision? The Career Services Department at The Art Institute of Philadelphia prides itself on partnering with students and graduates to seek appropriate employment during all stages of your education. This partnership may include helping you find part-time employment while you're in school, landing an internship toward the end of your program of study, and helping you pursue full-time employment in your field after graduation.

If you make the effort to attend and participate in Career Services sponsored events such as guest lectures, lunchtime workshops, site visits or mock interview exercises, then you're already well on your way to a successful employment search when it's time to graduate.

Armed with your body of best work in a traditional portfolio, CD ROM, demo reel or Web site, you can work closely with a Career Services Advisor to match your skills and abilities with the needs of industry employers. In addition, Career Services Advisors can provide help with writing your resume and cover letters and building your interviewing skills through mock interviews. Also, as part of graduation, our quarterly Portfolio Review shows give you the opportunity to present your work to potential industry employers who attend.
