Career Services

At your service

Looking for part-time work to put cash in your pocket while you study? Or full-time work in your field after graduation? We're here to help!

For Employers & Internship Providers

Many employers recruit new staff regularly from graduating Art Institute students. Career Services advisors have on-going communication with employers through mail, email, and phone contact to keep area employers current with our educational programs and the pool of talented graduates available to them. Job Fairs offer an opportunity to recruit students for part-time work and for career jobs after graduation. At the quarterly Portfolio Show, employers can meet students who are about to graduate and see their work.

Hare are just some of the ways the Career Services Department makes it easy for employers to find the talent they need:

  • Quarterly Career Day for employers to meet culinary arts graduates
  • Quarterly Portfolio Show for employers to meet fashion, design and media arts graduates
  • Quarterly Job Fairs for employers to present part-time job opportunities to new students
  • Posting of part-time positions on in-college job board
  • Visits by career advisors to employer facilities
  • Opportunity for employers to visit the campus to interview graduating students
  • Assistance to employers in scheduling interviews at the employer's offices
  • Screening of graduates for entry-level and advanced positions
