Denise Fike: The Art of Fashion

Denise Fike paints fashion: models, students, designers, icons, divas, brides, people she meets on the street, wannabees and shouldabees. Her work is graphic or collage paintings using vintage wallpapers, copper, gold and silver leaf and high gloss enamel. In a word: fabulous.

Denise Fike's artwork will be on display June 17 through August 21, 2009 in the 1622 Chestnut Street Gallery at The Art Institute of Philadelphia.

An opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Thursday, June 18 from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.
