Counseling Services

Counseling Services offices are located on the 3rd floor of the Main Building--1622 Chestnut Street.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am-7pm
Friday, 8am-5pm

Counseling services provide individual and group counseling and referral to community resources for students in need of emotional support or guidance. These community resources can assist with issues common to college students such as, study habits, roommate disputes, relationships, depression, anxiety and any other relevant issues.

Additionally, counseling services provide:

  • Substance abuse information and education
  • Special events/workshops on health-related areas
  • Information on human services in the Philadelphia area
  • Group counseling sessions
  • Workshops on time management, stress management, transition to college, and many other mental health topics.

Accident and Sickness Insurance

The Art Institutes are constantly working to improve the services we make available to our students. As part of that effort we are pleased to provide information to you on student medical insurance. The Art Institutes strongly encourage all students to maintain adequate health insurance while attending school. Students can enroll on-line in the student medical insurance program sponsored by National Collegiate Underwriters & Administrators, Inc.
