Student Housing Accommodations
1346 Chestnut Street

The primary residence hall is located at 1346 Chestnut Street in the heart of Center City Philadelphia. This high rise apartment building accommodates up to 660 students. Other residence halls include: 1510 Chestnut Street, 1530 Chestnut Street and the Lofts located at 16th and Chestnut Streets.

School-sponsored apartments are same-sex while the floors are co-educational. All residence halls have 24-hour security.

Housing charges include all utilities except phone, Internet, cable TV, laundry and food/vending service.

Tours
Tours of the facilities can be arranged by calling the Department of Residence Life at 215.545.2621 or 1.800.573.9441, or you may schedule the tour through your Admissions Representative at 1.800.275.2474.

Notice Concerning Parking
The Art Institute of Philadelphia does not provide parking to students and thus recommends that students not bring automobiles to school. Any students wishing to bring a car must make arrangements on their own with local garages.

Urgent Message from the Admissions Department at The Art Institute of Philadelphia

New Student Orientation at The Art Institute of Philadelphia will be held as scheduled on Saturday January 10 with breakfast available at 8:00 a.m. and the program starting at 9:00 a.m. Students who find it impossible to attend due to possible inclement weather should contact their Admissions Representative as soon as possible for further instructions.
