How To Apply For Student Housing

Application Process

In order to be assigned a space in our residential community, ALL of the following items must be completed:

  • acceptance to The Art Institute of Philadelphia
  • your $100 college enrollment fee (new students only)
  • Housing Application must be completed and returned to Department of Residence Life, Housing Application Processing Unit, 1346 Chestnut Street, Suite 306, Philadelphia, PA 19107
  • $130 Security Deposit must accompany application ($100 is refundable). It is important to send both your application and deposit to the Department of Residence Life directly in order to receive prompt and accurate processing. 
  • Student financial plan including housing costs must be completed and signed.

Urgent Message from the Admissions Department at The Art Institute of Philadelphia
New Student Orientation at The Art Institute of Philadelphia will be held as scheduled on Saturday January 10 with breakfast available at 8:00 a.m. and the program starting at 9:00 a.m. Students who find it impossible to attend due to possible inclement weather should contact their Admissions Representative as soon as possible for further instructions.
