Student Employment
Part Time Job Fair

Part Time/Freelance Employment Search

If you are interested in finding a job while in school, the Career Services Department can help. Students should make an appointment to meet with the Student Employment Advisor. Students may do this anytime after they are enrolled at The Art Institute of Philadelphia. Remember: It's never too early to start looking for a part-time job.

Students are encouraged to meet with the Student Employment Advisor, who will help identify the student's skills and interests and review techniques required to find a part-time job.

The Career Services Department receives many calls from employers looking for students to take on freelance work. Once a freelance job is placed with us, we post the job description on the Student Employment listserv. Students may then pursue the freelance lead independently. If students would like information about contracts, billing, and/or copyright information, they can ask a member of Career Services for assistance.

Our Career Services Department will also assist non-immigrant students, who are authorized by The Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services, to work in the U.S. to find suitable employment that complies with all applicable immigration regulations.

Contact the Student Employment Advisor at aiphstudentemployment@aii.edu.
