New England
Take the New Jersey Turnpike South and exit at Exit 4. Follow the signs for the
Benjamin Franklin
Bridge, which will take you from New Jersey into Philadelphia.
Once you are over the bridge, follow signs for I-676 West. Exit at Broad Street. (See

From Bucks
County and I-95 North
Take I-95 South. Follow until you see
signs that read Central Philadelphia. Take
I-676 West, following signs for Central Philadelphia
and exit at Broad Street.

Points West (Harrisburg, Western Pennsylvania, Ohio)
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76 East)
toward Philadelphia.
Take exit #326 (Valley Forge/King of Prussia). Get on the Schuylkill
Expressway (I-76 East) toward Philadelphia.
Take exit #344 (stay in the left lane for this exit), this brings you on I-676
East. Bear to the right and exit Broad Street/Center City. (See * below for

Wilkes Barre, Scranton,
Allentown Area
Take the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476) south toward Philadelphia. Take exit #20 (Mid-County) to Route I-476 South toward Philadelphia. Take
exit #16 to the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76 East) toward Philadelphia. Take exit
#344 (stay in the left lane for this exit). This brings you on I-676
East. Bear to the right and exit Broad Street/Center City. (See * below for continuation of directions

For Monday through Friday: The Broad
Street exit will put you onto 15th
Street. Take 15th Street to Sansom Street
(about eight blocks.) Turn right onto Sansom Street. (Do not enter
the parking garage at 15th and Sansom Street, they do not honor our stamp). Follow Sansom Street
to Eglin’s Garage, located on the left side of Sansom
between 16th and 17th Streets (1616
Sansom Street).
For Saturday/Open House: The Broad Street exit will put you onto 15th Street at Vine Street. Take 15th Street south
(the direction 15th Street traffic moves). You will pass Race, Cherry, Arch and Filbert
Streets before coming to J.F.
Kennedy Blvd.
At J. F. Kennedy Blvd,
turn right. Follow JFK Blvd. to 17th Street; Mak
a left and follow 17th Street
to The Westin Hotel Public Parking Garage. (Look for a small "P" sign
on your left once you pass Market
Street.)
Make left, park your own car and have your ticket stamped at The Art
Institute. Saturday rates are
discounted.
The 1622 and 1610 Chestnut Street buildings are located on the south
side of Chestnut Street
between 16th and 17th streets.

Station
Go up ramp (you can only go right); follow half way
around train station. At first major intersection, make left. This brings you
onto Market Street.
Go through one more intersection. Cross over bridge and go down one block. This
brings you to 23rd and Market Streets. We are across from PECO Energy building.
