Student Housing

The Art Institute of Philadelphia provides accommodations to approximately 30% of its student population. Additionally, many other students live in the vicinity of the college in privately owned apartments.

The Art Institute of Philadelphia offers students convenient, affordable college-sponsored housing.

In addition to being competitively priced, college-sponsored housing offers students numerous other advantages:

  • Costs may be included in financial plan
  • Opportunity to meet other Art Institute of Philadelphia students
  • Educational and social programming opportunities
  • Professional and student staffing
  • Convenient location close to Art Institute of Philadelphia classrooms

The Art Institute of Philadelphia's residence life program offers students the opportunity to be in community with other artists and to enjoy a living-learning environment.

Management
Professional and student staff (Director, Assistant Directors, Residence Life Coordinators, Resident Assistants, Maintenance and Facilities Staff, Security Officers) are available in our facilities to assist students who have questions or experience problems.

In addition, the staff plans a variety of activities and events for students throughout the year.

The Department of Residence Life should be contacted with administrative, financial, or management questions, or if there is an emergency.
