As the Senior Academic Director for Media Arts & Animation and Visual Effects & Motion Graphics, Digital Filmmaking & Video Production. Gregg Durham has been working as a Computer Graphic Artist and 3-D Animator since 1989. His background in the creation of 2-D and 3-D computer graphics and animations for video post-production for a diverse base of clients has prepared him well as an instructor for The Art Institute of Phoenix.
Experienced in 3-D Studio Max, Softimage, and After Effects, Durham is an active advisor and instructor in all levels of the animation curriculum. Durham has also served as a faculty advisor for student members of the NASA Aspire Team. He, along with several other talented faculty members and students have placed first in the Competition for all three years they have competed.

James Haldy has been in the video game industry for over 19 years. Haldy has been involved in the development of over 45 published titles across a wide variety of gaming systems. He has been an executive producer, art director, computer artist, and development director on several industry projects. He is an expert in the areas of video game production and development.
Haldy earned a Master of Divinity degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary and his bachelor’s degree from Whitworth College.

Kevin Hedgpeth
Kevin Hedgpeth's diverse industry background has prepared him well for the active roles of instructor and Assistant Academic Director at The Art Institute of Phoenix. He has been a professional illustrator and designer for over 20 years and continues to take on freelance work in those creative fields. Hedgpeth has worked in both the animation and toy design industries, in the roles of traditional animator, character designer, sculptor and art director for commercial media enterprises. He has also worked in the fields of paleo-illustration and film/video production.
Hedgpeth earned his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in Studio Art, with a specialization in intermedia. He has also co-authored and co-illustrated two textbooks entitled Exploring Drawing for Animation and Exploring Character Design for Cengage Learning.
