Instructors from The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institutes head to NY for NYE
Chefs invited to add flavor to The James Beard Foundation’s celebration
PHOENIX, Ariz. – Chefs from The International Culinary Schools at The Art Institutes were invited to pack their knives and head to New York City to prepare a decadent dinner for The James Beard Foundation’s 2012 New Years Eve Celebration. Pulling from their years of experience and regional flavors, the chefs hailing from schools in Arizona, Texas and North Carolina created a menu that whet the appetite of event attendees. From foie gras-dark chocolate truffle starters to a seared scallop and crisp pork belly with cauliflower puree entrée option, those who dined on the rich dishes of The International Culinary School at The Art Institutes 2012 menu ushered in the new year filled to the brim with masterfully made cuisine.
Chef Walter Leible -instructor at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Phoenix-, Chef Larry Matson -Director at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Dallas-, Chef Joseph Bonaparte -Director of Curriculum and Quality Assurance at The International Culinary School at The Art Institutes- and Chef Michael Nenes -Assistant Vice President and Culinary Arts General Manager at The International Culinary School at The Art Institutes- created the team of four culinary masterminds at the NYE event.
