Become part of the Student Body
At The Art Institute of Phoenix, students enjoy small classes,
hands-on learning, and close relationships with faculty
and staff. With a student-faculty ratio of approximately
twenty to one, students are assured of personal attention.
But it's not all study, classes, and labs. On campus, students
can grab a snack, catch the newest gallery exhibit, or make
a purchase at the Supply Store. Student activities, both
on and off campus, provide opportunities for making new
friends and trying new experiences.
Beyond the Campus
Beyond the school, students can enjoy everything a major
metropolitan area can offer, from clubs and concerts to
galleries and museums, Diamondback baseball games to hiking
Squaw Peak. The Phoenix Art Museum and the Heard Museum
are wonderful resources for students of the applied arts,
as are the Contemporary Art Center and the dozens of art
galleries throughout the city. And the burgeoning restaurant
scene offers enrichment opportunities of a different kind.
Making Friends
Students find that those who were strangers at orientation
are soon friends to hang out with, laugh with, and share
ideas with.
And for practical advice, student affairs is ready to help.
