The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Gallery of Art, 420 Boulevard of the Allies, Downtown)

Opening Reception: Wednesday, May 13 at 5 p.m.)

Featuring: A collection of a century of animation art and artifacts including original works such as Gertie the Dinosaur (the firsst animated character circa 1909), original notes to Walt Disney and an original animation desk from Disney's Hyperion Studio, story boards, movie posters, pan paintings, and a collection of production cels and sketches from the most popular 2D animated charactes from film, television, literature, and commercials and products. The Animation B.C. Collection was curated by Joe Wos, Executive Director of The ToonSeum.

High School Tours and Field Trips are Encouraged!
