Announces Culinary Educator of the Year Award Recipient
The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Proudly Announces Culinary Educator of the Year Award Recipient
The Art Institute of Pittsburgh's Chef Norman Hart was named the American Culinary Federation Northeast's Regional 'Culinary Educator of the Year' on Sunday, March 4th at the closing event for the ACF Regional Conference hosted by the Pittsburgh Chef's Association at the Westin Hotel.
Chef Hart will now move on to the National Competition for the ACF National Culinary Educator of the Year this summer at the ACF National Conference in Orlando.
The ACF National Educator of the Year award pays tribute to an active culinary educator whose knowledge, skills, and expertise have enhanced the image of the professional chef, and who, by example, has given leadership, guidance, and direction to students seeking a career in the culinary profession. This person demonstrates the ability to help students define and develop their careers by using their skills and abilities to provide a strong foundation for their future success.
