Student Facilities

The Art Institute of Pittsburgh occupies approximately 177,000 square feet in The Art Institute of Pittsburgh building, 420 Boulevard of the Allies, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15219. In addition to classrooms, studios, laboratories, offices, student lounges, a library and an exhibition gallery, The Art Institute maintains an art supply store for the convenience of the students, and 10,000 square feet dedicated to Culinary, including 3 fully-equipped kitchens. sizes generally adhere to the following:

+ 25 students per lab

+ 30 students per studio

+ 40 students per lecture.

The year-round average size for The Art Institute of Pittsburgh is 20 students. In maintaining this average student/teacher ratio, occasionally the Art Institute will teach a larger class.
