The Art Institute of Pittsburgh offers more than just training in art and technical skills - it also gives you the chance to take part in countless activities, find your Zen side and pamper your inner drama queen. This and more is made possible through The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Student Affairs Department. Membership in all approved clubs is open to all students in good standing regardless of age, sex, race, national origin, religion, disability, or sexual orientation. Here is just a sample of the many ways you can spend your spare time besides staring down your Playstation:
Activities Calendar - Check the Activities Calendar for great events meant for having fun and making friends. There are carnivals, Monte Carlo nights, psychic fairs, comedians, and movies.

Advertisers Desired (Advertising Club)
Group for students in all programs that provides political, social, and economic opportunities for students interested in the field of marketing and advertising. Faculty Advisor: Jackie Fisher
AiP TV
Television production group for students in all programs. Faculty Advisor: Cy Anderson
Animated Intelligence
An animation interest group potentially bridging three departments: VMG, MAA, and GAD - primary role is to support students' involvement in film festivals. Faculty Advisor: Angela Love
Anime and Mangaka Club
Provides members with an environment to both enjoy Japanese animation and the opportunity to further their skills in a relaxed atmosphere and in a professional manner. Faculty Advisor: Doug Anke
The Arcane Order

Digital Premiere
Offers students in visual effects and motion graphics the opportunity to gain real life experience. Faculty Advisor: Max Walters
Drama Club
Theatrical performance club that offers experience and enjoyment in all aspects of dramatic production; performances every other quarter; shows are staffed almost exclusively by students; opportunities for students interested in all aspects of dramatic production including set construction, scene art, lighting, sound, performance, publicity, and more. Dream Models Club
Provides a fun and exciting environment for students to explore the worlds of modeling and fashion. Faculty Advisor: Gretchen Harnick
The Fashion Club

Film Club
The Film Club produces short and full-length feature films to be entered in competitions and to gain real life experience. Faculty Advisor: Don Gabany
Grace Bible Study
Members are encouraged to read, discuss, question, talk, and pray about the studies and teachings of the Bible. Faculty Advisor: Sharieda Patterson
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity fundraises for, builds with, and increases awareness about Habitat for Humanity in both Pittsburgh and nationwide. Staff Advisor: Crystal Lynam
Hip Hop Dance Club

Interior Design Student Professional Alliance (IDSPA)

National Technical Honor Society
A national honor society for students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.4 and higher; primary goal is to reward and encourage outstanding student effort and achievement. Staff Advisor: Sara Rathburn
Pittsburgh Christian Campus Ministry
Provides students with the opportunity to get involved with a Christian organization during their time at AiP. Staff Advisor: Sharieda Patterson
Pennsylvania Paranormal Association

Pride Club

Production Monsters
