To create an ACCOUNT and begin scheduling online, follow the directions below. Click on the links within the text to view examples of the directions.
1. Go to WCOnline at http://www.rich36.com/aii. If you haven’t made an account, click on one of the two links circled in red in the example here.
2. Fill in all the required fields indicated by red stars, shown in the example here. When finished, press the “Register” button on the bottom.
3. You are finished registering! You will receive confirmation in your email account of your registration. You can then click the link on the page saying that you had successfully registered, and log in to your account and make an appointment.
To create an APPOINTMENT, follow the directions below. Click on the links within the text to view examples of the directions.
1. Once you have logged in, you can view the schedule. You can navigate to what week you would like to meet with a writing consultant.
2. After you choose a day to be tutored, find a writing consultant that is available. The white blocks indicate availability. Click on a white box in a time slot that works for you, shown in the example here.
3. Once you click on an open time slot, you can fill in all the appropriate information in the pop-up window that will appear. Remember to include the “start” and “end” time of your appointment. You can choose to have a 30- or 60-minute appointment.
4. If you would like help on a class writing assignment, use the two drop-down menus specifying the course and instructor. Both menu selections are organized by their corresponding departments, shown in the example here.
5. If you are not working on a course assignment, use the “Other Writing” menu to specify your project. If it is not listed, use the “Other?” text field to name your project.
6. Whether you would like help with a course assignment or other writing project, describe what you would like to work on during your visit in the last text field, shown in the example here. Please be as specific as possible.
NOTE:If you are a professor who would like to schedule a workshop, use the fourth drop-down menu and select the workshop category you would like to schedule. Then, specify in the last text field the course title, classroom number, number of students that will attend, and any other relevant information. Example here.7. When you are finished entering your appointment information, press the “Save Reservation” button at the bottom, example here. You will then receive an email confirmation and a reminder the day before your appointment. Congratulations!
