GALLERY PROPOSALS

The Art Institute of Portland Gallery is always interested in connecting with artists to discuss exhibit opportunities. We currently have openings for exhibits during the 2008 calendar year and beyond.

If you are interested in sending in a proposal to exhibit in The Art Institute of Portland Gallery, please submit the following:

-cover letter introducing the artist (or artists) as well as a brief summary of why you want to exhibit in The Art Institute of Portland Gallery and how your work fits in with the mission of the college and/or the programs we offer here;

-10 - 20 slides or jpeg images on a CD, labeled properly (only work that will be exhibited should be included in the proposal);

-detailed image list with titles, dimensions, year created, medium used; and

-artist bio or resume.

Slides and CDs will be returned if you provide a self-addressed postage paid envelope along with your submission.
