Goose Hollow is an apartment complex created solely for the use of students in the Portland area. While your apartment will house only students from The Art Institute, your neighbors might be from PSU, PNCA, or one of several other colleges in Portland. It is located just under a mile from The Art Institute but don’t let that get you down; it’s about six blocks to the streetcar and also boasts a shuttle to take students to/from the college throughout the day.

There are two living options available at Goose Hollow. From one bedroom apartments for two students, to two bedroom apartments for four, each apartment has a living room and is equipped with its own kitchen! Each kitchen comes with a refrigerator, stove/oven, sink, and dishwasher.

The complex also includes a designated study space, card operated laundry facilities, a weight room, an exercise room with treadmills and elliptical machines, and a parking garage which is available through the complex directly.

If you’re looking for something a little more intimate in a housing location, we’ve got just the place. The Arthur houses only 60 Art Institute students and features the kind of tight-knit community that you thought probably only existed on TV. 

The Arthur boasts mostly private rooms designed “vintage hotel style,” with two rooms sharing a bathroom. There are a limited number of private rooms with a private bath, and two room suites that house two students, with a shared bath.

Additional features in The Arthur include a designated common space for study, gaming, or television, a community kitchen, coin operated laundry facilities, computers, and bike storage. Housing assignments are made on a first-come, first served basis, upon receipt of the Housing Application and Housing deposit. In the event the student leaves Student Housing prior to the end of the license agreement or withdraws their application less than 30 days prior to the start of the quarter, the housing deposit shall be forfeited. Each license agreement is for 3 consecutive quarters.

Housing assignments and details about move in day are emailed 2-3 weeks before move in day.
