STUDENT AFFAIRS: COUNSELING AND DISABILITY SERVICES

Disability Services

Disability Services is available to assist students who identify themselves as having disabilities that impact their ability to function in the classroom. Students must take an intake/accommodations assessment appointment and provide appropriate documentation of their disability from a qualified medical or psychological professional.

Services
The available academic adjustments and auxiliary aids are limited to students who are currently enrolled in classes and may include:

  • Testing accommodations
  • Note-taking, sign language interpreting, and real-time captioning services
  • Information about disabilities
  • Referral to appropriate college and community resources
  • Pre-admission consultation
  • Textbook and syllabi recording/scanning
  • Priority registration
  • Information on Access Technologies
