"Life is better with art in it." After considering this statement, I explored
many different relevant ideas. Ultimately, I chose to incorporate one of my
favorite photos I had taken last year. To me, flowers represent life at its
best. Without color, flowers would not bring the visual joy they so often do.
By contrasting the absence of color with vibrant, uplifting hues, I attempted
to demonstrate how life - whether it be plant or human life - is better with
art in it. Creativity and color are an important part of art and life.
Graphic design will fulfill my desire to express my creativity in a productive, meaningful way. I feel the guidance, direction and experience I will receive in college will help me succeed in this field. I look forward to being a member of a team, as well as an independent worker in my career. Graphic Design can have a major influence in the way people view a product or an idea. In my future, I hope my work produces only positive influences on society. This is my responsibility as a graphic designer. I know I am just taking the first step towards and exciting career. I feel I have a lot to offer within this field. With hard work and perseverance, I will hopefully fulfill my dreams. |
