In designing this poster I chose to illustrate to the best of my ability the design elements.
Those elements are space, line, value, shape, form, texture, and color. I wanted to fill the
space, but not overwhelm it with too many objects or too much detail. Also, I used lines and
stippling to create certain textures, along with certain colors to portray its distinguished
feelings that accompany those colors.
I want to enter this field of art for the sole purpose of bringing a better understanding and appreciation to viewers of this type of art. As technology advances, the way of creating art changes. Art has developed from being mainly, if not only a hands-on approach, to a computer oriented way of creating. It is crucial that I, as a young artist, change with the times and adapt to these new art techniques. |
